Gerald C. Davison (born 1939) is Professor of Gerontology and Psychology and former dean of the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California.[1] He has authored more than 130 publications dealing with topics such as experimental analysis of psychopathology, therapeutic change and the links between cognition and a variety of behavioral and emotional problems.[citation needed] Davison has co-authored the widely used textbooks Abnormal Psychology,[2] Case Studies in Abnormal Psychology[3] and Clinical Behavior Therapy.[4] Some of his most recent publications are concerned with graduate education in clinical psychology.[5][6]
