Like Athenean said, the Tenedos page is very contentious. I believe that if you look at my record, you'll note that I have played a constructive role in the dialogue. I have been in discussion with admin Bbb23 regarding the "refactoring" that Athenean refers to, and the admin has been very helpful in clarifying when such editing may occur. Lastly, as a new participant in these discussions I have attempted to learn the various facets of Wikipedia policy and reportage, including from the activities of other members (from whom I learned about the "3RR" rule). Wikipedia is set up to encourage such learning, it is not strange that a new editor like myself would seek this knowledge and attempt to use it. That's the point of WP's meta-pages, as far as I can tell.Cinque stelle (talk) 16:01, 26 August 2012 (UTC)

Suspected sockpuppets

A partiuclarly heated requested move at Talk:Tenedos has been recently plagued by various IPs and new accounts all voting in support of the move. It is clear that there is sockpuppetry and or meatpuppetry going on here. User:Cinque stelle is one such brand-new account that reminds me very much of a particularly ardent supporter of the move, the IP editor 71.192.30.158, who also edited under the IP 71.192.24.73. What I consider a dead giveaway is how the IP editor repeatedly removes my talkpage comments [1] [2] [3] while leaving threatening/insulting messages on my talkpage [4] [5], and then threatening to file a "vandalism report" if I continued. User:Cinque stelle does exactly the same thing: [6] [7] [8]. This is an account that appears out of nowhere to vote in support of the requested move, just like the IP editor, and then engages in exactly the same behavior. There is no doubt this is the same person. Athenean (talk) 14:45, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, this new account knows how to file a WP:AN3 report [9] and an RFC within the first day of editing [10], as well as how to refactor talkpage comments and what that means. I also note that 71.192 IP has disappeared since "Cinque stelle" appeared on the scene. Athenean (talk) 15:19, 26 August 2012 (UTC)[reply
