::I've never seen Target, Wal-Mart, and K-Mart described as department stores, only as discount stores or big-box stores. I am an avid reader of the L.A. Times, the N.Y. I've never seen Target, Wal-Mart, and K-Mart described as department stores, only as discount stores or big-box stores. I am an avid reader of the L.A. Times, the N.Y.
