→‎Rita Hayworth Wholesale Reverts: no disrespect intended
Line 40: Line 40:
I just noticed that you reverted my edits to the Rita Hayworth article. Your edit summary is misleading as you said that only "third degree headings not needed" [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Rita_Hayworth&diff=521396554&oldid=520493729]. You did not just remove the "third degree headings", you reverted all my edits without providing a reason why. Did you look at the edits I made? I changed up the order of the sections because it makes no sense to read about a person's marriages and health problems after you ''just read'' a section that discussed their death. I also took the time to add sources to quotes and other material that had fact tags by them. Why were these removed? If you do not agree with the stylistic changes, you could have at least approached me or brought it up on the talk page like I have. Doing a wholesale revert without even looking at the edits someone took time and effort to make is not very collaborative. I have reinstated the changes I made because last time I looked, adding sources to an article is a good thing. If you take issue with the other changes I made, please communicate with me on the article talk page as I have opened up a discussion there. List of postmodern writers

Thanks for the advice. I now realize that a long list of writers exists on the Postmodern literature page and that a relationship exists between this, and the separate List of postmodern writers article. I should have checked before. Maybe the (redundant?) "List of writers" page should be reduced to just a link to the main postmodern article page. The question of citations, and who to include, could be much better handled within the main article. Rwood128 (talk) 23:18, 20 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A brownie for you!

Thanks for helping make Gabrielle Roth's article more fitting. Since we both danced so hard, I figured you needed a sustaining snack to keep you going. Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:18, 21 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Anna Homler

Anna Homler (tidy, ce, hide references not currently formatted as inline citations until they can be matched to the corresponding text)

Thanks so much dear Spanglej you also have helped me well on other pages too. You must be an arts type. Anyhow, very much appreciate your work. I read your suggestion to me that I use the citations not formatted as inline citations, which are hiding somewhere, as additions to my *Further Reading Section* as they are important to the biography of musician-artist Anna Homler. Are they hiding somewhere I can find the and work with them? Thanks so much for it all! Hope I haven't goofed up already. Marilyn Nix (talk) 09:52, 24 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Leo Tolstoy

Tried to link the wikiquote article on Robert Hunter's book Why We Fail as Christians (1919) from Leo Tolstoy. The book has an extensive discussion on Tolstoy, and the Wikiquote article contains numerous descriptions of his life and thoughts. You removed the link with note: rv not an external link, Wikiquote already linked, but this particular article at wikiquotes is not currently linked, only the Leo Tolstoy article is linked. You did not move the link elsewhere in the Wikipedia article, but deleted it outright. What's the deal? Thanks for your consideration. ELApro (talk) 13:35, 27 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding section "Further reading" and for retaining the Wikiquote link. I added links to online full text public domain books: Maude's The Life of Tolstoy: Later years and Hunter's Why We Fail as Christians to your new section.

Rita Hayworth Wholesale Reverts
