Laurent Wauquiez (born April 12, 1975 in Lyon) is a French politician and was the Secretary of State for European Affairs under the Foreign and European Affairs Minister, Alain Juppé. He was previously Secretary of State for Employment under the Minister of the Economy, Industry and Employment[1] since March 2008 in François Fillon’s government. He also has been Government Spokesman since June 2007, until March 2008 as Minister of State under the Prime Minister.
