Robert Arzumanyan (Armenian: Ռոբերտ Արզումանյան, born 24 July 1985 in Yerevan, Soviet Union) is an Armenian football defender. He currently plays for FC Ararat Yerevan.

Club career

Pyunik

Arzumanyan grew up playing for the youth team of Pyunik Yerevan. He has been a regular for the senior side since he has turned 18.

Randers

On 17 January 2008 he signed a one year long contract with Danish football club Randers. Following the 2008/2009 season Arzumanyan had made himself a first team regular on the team following some good and stable performances. On 29 August 2008 Arzumanyan extended his contract with Randers with a four year long deal.[1]

Jagiellonia Białystok

In January 2011, he joined Polish club Jagiellonia Białystok on three and a half year contract.[2]

International career

Arzumanyan is also one of the key defenders of the Armenia national team, and has participated in 56 international matches and scored 4 goals since his debut in an away friendly match against Kuwait on 18 March 2005. He scored his first international goal for Armenia in a Euro 2008 qualifying match against Kazakhstan.[3]
