Orphaned non-free media (File:Paap.png)
Thanks for uploading File:Paap.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:18, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
Re: Retract
Alright. --Tito Dutta (talk) 08:27, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for the smiley Tito :) so we are good? Yours faithfully, Kotakkasut. 08:29, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- Talking from another point of view, imagine, you go on a Wikibreak and when you return you see your talk page is flooded with "Hazard bots" messages, because someone has replaced your non-free images.
- There is an old long bad trend (I am not saying it is applicable for your upload) to replace an image just to have their own image in Wikipedia. Either you have experienced it already/going to experience it.
- There many articles where editors have requested images (only Film category has more than thousand articles See here. --Tito Dutta (talk) 08:38, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- I totally get what you mean Tito. I'll just leave the original theatrical release poster that I've uploaded to be deleted and use the scanned DVD cover instead. Yours faithfully, Kotakkasut. 09:07, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
- I also appreciate your patience in handling this situation. I wish that I was like you, well at least I have someone to look up to :P Yours faithfully, Kotakkasut. 09:11, 21 January 2013 (UTC)
