William Kabogo Gitau (born 4 April 1964) is a Kenyan politician who joined politics in 2002 which most believe was out of nowhere as he won his first election with a good margin. In 2007 he was rigged out in favor of the PNU candidate one George Thuo AKA Citi Hoppa but Kabogo went to court and judge Luka Kimaru annulled the disputed juja results sending them back to the polls in 2010 where he won the elections. He is the Member of Parliament for Juja Constituency[1] and is with the NARC-Kenya party.[2]

He won the parliamentary seat at the Juja by-elections on September 20, 2010. Alice Wambui of Kenya National Congress was distant second, while the previous MP, George Thuo of PNU was left third.[3]

William has been instrumental in developments in Juja constituency that were left unattended to during the time that George Thuo was M.P after he rigged William out. He has helped in the supply of electricity, water and building of roads, schools, hospitals and many other things.

One of the things that have been very sad in the Kenyan political arena is the manipulation by media of certain things. For example I have noticed that all the media houses have given Kabogo a blackout for as long as he is doing something good. On the other hand they never show any of his political rallies or anything that would build him but they will always portray a bad image of the M.P.

Funny thing is contrary to all the bad PR from Kenyan media he is a favorite in central Kenya and it is rumored that he will be the first Kiambu governor which most believe in a landslide.

He is known for his charities, and many philanthropic activities that have helped my of his constituents.* Juja constituency profile
