Hi HectorMoffet. First, let me say how grateful I am that you're here volunteering your time to the project. Not only is your article work great, but your efforts to imptove Wikipedia's operations are also much appreciated. Thank you for you generous support. It's very much appreciated. I am using a quote of yours that I found particularly insightful and thought it would be courteous to let you know about it. The quote is at [[Wikipedia talk:Editor engagement experiments#Step 1: Identify the problem]], which is part of the WMF's editor retention project. All the best. References

Hi. If you're going to add references that consist solely of URLs, as you did in Aaron Swartz, please do not bracket [] them as <ref>[http://foo.bar]</ref>, as they just show up as [1] links. Instead, please write htem as <ref>http://foo.bar</ref> so that the URL is visible. Best, of course, would to use something like {{cite web}} but I realize that may be unreasonably burdensome. Thanks. Incidentally, I don't think that you were correct to remove the Youtube link. For one thing, the source you provided doesn't include it. For another, despite WP:PRIMARY, some random news account is not always superior to the raw facts, especially as news is developing. I haven't reverted your change, but upon reflection I think I probably ought to.... Thank you! jhawkinson (talk) 09:34, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Aaron Swartz, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page EFF (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:32, 26 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay.
