== Is it necessary to translate the names of places? == |

I find it really funny and unnecessary to translate names of places from Malay to English. It's plain ridiculous, it's like reading a Malay article where New York is translated as "York Baru". Names of places (toponyms) shouldn't be translated as they are special nouns. You don't translate Emma Stone to "Emma Batu", because nobody knows who that is. Similarly there's no such place as "Loyal Gombak". |
