Over the years, Watson Bloodstock has been successful in the yearling sales ring which can be credited to the extensive research of yearling market trends to map stallions standing within Australsia.

Cullen also holds a 50% stake in Soul Bar and Bistro that specializes in fresh New Zealand cuisine with an emphasis on seafood.[19]

The Watson Foundation, a charitable trust structured by Cullen Investments[20], assists underprivileged children and young people. The foundation generally sponsors smaller charities that face difficult times in raising funds, such as The First Tee of New Zealand[21], Summer-fields Charitable Trust's 'A Gift' Program.
