The Chickadees is a special organization for girls only. It exists in The Scrooge McDuck Universe as a female version of The Junior Woodchucks. The Chickadees first appeared in Walt Disney's Comics and Stories #268 featuring Donald Duck in The Chickadee Challenge. The Chickadees are led by a brawny woman named Captain Ramrod. Daisy Duck's nieces April, May, and June are members of The Chickadees. (Note - A Chickadee is a type of bird.)
