Maaemo is a Norwegian Restaurant located in Schweigaards gate in Oslo, Norway. In March 2012 it was awarded two stars in the Michelin Guide, the first time a Nordic restaurant has been awarded two stars in its first mention in the guide.[1] Maaemo focuses on local food.[2] The kitchen is run by Esben Holmboe Bang. In August 2013, Holmboe Bang featured on Elite Traveler's list of the '15 Most Influential Chefs of the Next Decade'.[3]
