::::Whpq it is on Wikipedia because I wanted to do something original, unlike what my classmates and friends were doing (Powerpoint presentations, YouTube videos, etc). I hope you can understand that I cannot change the medium of the presentation at this moment, though I will avoid trying to use Wikipedia as a place to do a presentation in the future.. *Comment - Ef alt: For your presentation, don't forget that you can make a word processor page, add a title and then links to the pages you want, and save it on your computer. Or, you can create shortcuts on the desktop of your computer to the articles. Also, remember that Wikipedia articles can be legally copied onto your own computer as long as you add a note that the information came from Wikipedia. You might considered doing this anyway in case the result of this discussion is "delete". —Anne Delong (talk) 18:49, 20 November 2013 (UTC)

Revision as of 03:46, 21 November 2013

User:Ef alt/sandbox (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Copy of two articles in mainspace with no differences to the articles. User claims they are using it for a school project, but there is no evidence of this as the article text remains unchanged with only a single paragraph as commentary. As per WP:UP#COPIES. Canterbury Tail talk 12:52, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Comment – Please keep it for a week for two (when my project is finished) then delete it, as it serves no purpose other than for me to make a presentation of the two topics in the waterways. Additionally, please give me some more time to edit the sandbox. After two weeks, this page should be deleted, for I will not need it. However, don't delete it now; my presentation is coming up and I can't change my plans at the last minute. Ef alt (talk) 14:12, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Whpq, the problem with this is that my teacher and I have agreed that I would be presenting on Wikipedia beforehand, so I could delete it later (after December 2 - my presentation date), but not so soon. Ef alt (talk) 21:18, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Then you need to speak to your teacher and explain why it is being presented elsewhere. Why must it be on Wikipedia?-- Whpq (talk) 21:25, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
@Whpq: it is on Wikipedia because I wanted to do something original, unlike what my classmates and friends were doing (Powerpoint presentations, YouTube videos, etc). I hope you can understand that I cannot change the medium of the presentation at this moment, though I will avoid trying to use Wikipedia as a place to do a presentation in the future.. I have done that. Thanks for the suggestion. Ef alt (talk) 21:19, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
