This article, based on Sudoplatov's misguided memoirs, completely inappropriately accuses key US physicists of providing intelligence for the Soviet A-bomb effort. Sudoplatov has been subsequently discredited. See articles in fall 1994 issue of the Cold War International History Project Bulletin (www.cwihp.org). This issue, in particular, contains the report from Vasilevsky/Terletsky's questioning of Niels Bohr, which shows beyond any doubt that Bohr provided no information of any importance to the Soviet spies.
