The Arabic Language Academy (Arabic: مجمع اللغة العربية) (Hebrew: אקדמיה ללשון ערבית) is a supreme institution for science and research of the Arabic language in Israel seated in Haifa which established in December 2007. Its Powers and functions regulated by a Knesset Law approved on March 2007 and they are largely parallel those of the Hebrew Language Academy. The first president of the academy is Prof. Mahmoud Ghanayem.
