Regarding the Henry Dunay submission

Hi Sarah, this article was previously submitted and rejected on the same grounds, but this is an article about a company and not the designer. The previous reviewer, samwalton9, asked me to submit some changes, to which I complied, but he did not push it through (probably a little busy). Please have another look and let me know if there are any changes you would require. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ankitsjain1 (talkcontribs) 16:57, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I wanted to contact you

Hi! Sarah, I just noticed that you have declined my appropriately referenced Article/Pak Poet Stub,I.e, Azhar Naazir 2 HRS Ago, I would like to invite your attention to Aarticle/Stub Again, As u might not have seen the links of The News, English Paper Story & Pakistan Academy Of Letters Writer's Profile too which provide enough verifiable & Appropriate evidence in support. Thanks & Regards.Azhartokyo (talk) 12:24, 23 March 2014 (UTC). about our recent exchange at Soldiers and Sailors Monument (Delphi, Indiana), but my note to you turned out to be perhaps more than I'd like to post here, but your "email this user" button seems to be missing. I am sure that this is done for a reason, such as, you don't want messages like the one I'm trying to send, but if you send me an email to eeklon at yahoo dot com I will send it to you, or if I don't hear from you, I'll just post it here. Not as big as deal as this might sound. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 19:50, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I realized that my edit summary was super short and I should have contacted you. I have been traveling. And yes, I removed my "Email this user" option upon my ending of working at the Wikimedia Foundation, and due to recent attacks I have suffered publicly due to my involvement in the women's movement of Wikipedia. Anyway, sorry for my removal, but, I already mentioned it in the "other information" section. Perhaps, if you wish to see it in the "Acquistion" section it can be rephrased to explain why the sculptor and architect were chosen, however, I don't have any sources, yet, stating that involvement with the Indianapolis sculpture was the reason he was chosen to assist with the Delphi piece. I removed it because I didn't think it was necessary to post it in two places in the somewhat short article, and that it wasn't necessary a part of the "acquisition" section. However, if you feel otherwise then I'm not going to edit war about it. :) SarahStierch (talk) 22:50, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
No edit war, I have boundless respect for you and you editing, and your decision and execution of it were blameless, and I am sorry to hear about the negative fallout from you editing. Once again I feel a need to apologize fr my gender. Here is the email that I was going to send you:

Dear Sarah: You were absolutely right in undoing my edit at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument (Delphi, Indiana), however not mostly for the reason that you might believe, although your reasoning was right on. The real reason for doing it (and I have faith that you will look into this claim further) is that neither Schwarz nor Schmitz had anything to do with that monument. On wikipedia we (or at least ”I”) have an ongoing problem with good sources that are just wrong. In this case it was the National Register form for the Carroll County Courthouse. I started thinking about it and realized that if the 1882 date was correct then Schwarz was only 16 years old and if the 1888 date, the one usually used, was right he would have been 22. Why would Americans go to Austria or Germany for a 22 year old sculptor? I am currently NOT living at home in Dixon NM surrounded by my library, I am in Sun City AZ living with my 91 year old mother. However I do have access to the “Guide to Architectural Sculpture in America”, an online wiki started by Walt Lockley (another wikipedia editor) and I created many years ago. So I looked up the Indianapolis Monument and we had both Schmitz and Schwarz coming to America basically a decade after the Delphi monument. So I called my wife in Dixon, asked her to find my sculpture of Indiana book, (which I got from author Glory-Grief, with a nice inscription) and she looked it up and . . . . …. sure enough, Glory Grief says that the Delphi monument was often erroneously attributed to Schwarz. That work, I believe, does NOT show up as being by Schwarz on the SIRIS inventory, in fact everything there is dated after the S&S monument in Indianapolis. So mull all this over and do what you think is best. Life is supposed to be interesting. Einar aka carptrash
PS, I realize (or think I realize) that I have a few pictures of this monument in my picture collection back in Dixon, nothing I can have Violet look up) because I used to drive across northern Indiana occasionally when my daughter was at Purdue. I was more impressed with the drinking fountain in the same square by Myrna Reynalds Ricchards, which, if it does not already have an article, could use one. eek Carptrash (talk) 04:40, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of Italian Women articles needing work

I will be out of town on the 5th of April so I will regrettably miss the editing session. However, I have been keeping a list of articles about Italian Women artists, writers, and scientists, that need to be created or that need editing. It's in my sandbox, and therefore is a bit of a mess, but if you have anyone who is interested feel free to make use of it. I will continue to add to it. LaMona (talk) 02:02, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi LaMona. Can you link to me where the list is? Thank you so much for sharing it. I will share it with as many people as possible!!! I'm sorry you can't join us - more will follow. SarahStierch (talk) 05:06, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Right now it's here: [1] but I can move it to a more visible page if there is one. LaMona (talk) 00:15, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for creation/Shouryya Ray

Thanks for looking at it. It is a couple of years since it happened now, and I noticed I still had it in my user section.

Do you think it is worth tidying up any further, or just a non event as per your rejection.

Dr. Pacella

Hi Sarah,

I have signed up to Wikipedia under the username DrPacella, and I have made a new article about Dr. Pacella, but I am not Dr. Pacella. I simply signed up to wikipedia to make a page about him. In your comments you said it was discouraged to make a page about yourself, which I totally understand. He is not making one for himself, I am making one for him. Is this acceptable? Thanks!
