Biography

Romulo A. Yanes was born and raised in Cuba; however, his family were exiled from the country after Fidel Castro's take over. Romulo studied School of Visual Arts in New York before taking his first job at Conde Nast's publication [3]. He was a staff photographer at Gourmet for over twenty five years [4] before the publication finally concluded in 2009.[5]

His photography has appeared in international magazines including Gourmet Magazine, Bon Appetit, Martha Stewart Living and Everyday Food, Cooking Light, Health and GQ[6]among others.

Romulo was the photographer of Hilary R. Clinton's An Invitation To The White House: At Home With History and with the writer Marta Sgubin, published Cooking for Madam: Recipes and Reminiscences from the Home of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
