Ruslan, or Rouslan, is a male given name used mainly in the Russian Federation. It derives from the Turkic language family and means "lion", "great" or "huge" (Turkic: Arslan/Aslan).[1][2] The name Eruslan is another variant of the form Ruslan.

Occasionally, it has also been used in neighboring countries, namely Ukraine, Belarus, Bulgaria and Kazakhstan.
