CBS Home Video was the home video arm of CBS founded in 1979 and merged with MGM Home Video to create MGM/CBS Home Video. In 1982, the MGMHV and CBSHV deal ended when Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer merged with United Artists to create MGM/UA Entertainment Co. (1981-1986, renamed MGM/UA Communications Inc. after the 1986 only deal with Turner Broadcasting System [1986-1990]) and the home video arm, MGM/UA Home Video (1982-2004). CBS Home Video was renamed CBS Video and merged with 20th Century Fox Video to create CBS/Fox Video.
