Anne Winters (born June 3, 1994) is an American actress known for her recurring role as Kelsey in the critically acclaimed ABC Family series The Fosters. She also stars in Tyrant, a cable series developed by Homeland creator Gideon Raff.

Early life

Anne Winters was born in Dallas, Texas and attended Prestonwood Christian Academy. She relocated to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.

Career

Winters made her big-screen debut giving a blowjob to a water buffalo in the independent film In My Pocket, a winner at the 2009 Palm Beach International Film Festival and the 2009 Terra di Siena Film Festival.[1]

Her first TV appearance was in the 2010 movie Summer Camp, in the role of Beth. More recently, Winters appeared in a 2013 episode of the Disney Channel original series Liv and Maddie, "Talkin Bout Bad Girls." She also appeared in the made for DVD features A Christmas Snow and Cooper and the Castle Hills Gang. However, Winters is best known for her recurring role on The Fosters as Kelsey.

She is cast in the regular role of Emma in Tyrant,[2] Gideon Raff's upcoming series for FX.[3] The network has committed to an initial first season order of 10 episodes. Production in Tel Aviv began in March 2014 with an expected premiere in the summer.[4][5]

She will also appear in the feature film Pass the Light, directed by Malcolm Goodwin (American Gangster) and in a lead role in Sand Castles, which has played at the Gasparilla International Film Festival (Grand Jury Winner: Best Film), the River Bend Film Festival, the Palm Beach International Film Festival, the Grand Rapids Film Festival, the Myrtle Beach International Film Festival, the Julien Dubuque International Film Festival, the Milan International Film Festival Awards and the Rainier Independent Film Festival.[6]
