Welcome!
Hello, 11raccoon1, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions, especially what you did for LGBT rights in Croatia. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! Jargon777 Leave a message 15:42, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
- As a footnote, I removed the image you added in your edit. I don't think it's relevant to the topic really. You can read WP:IMAGE RELEVANCE for tips on when to include images. Additionally, when adding images, make sure they do not disrupt the flow of the article and are properly placed. Your image was a little low and flowed into the next heading. Good luck and thanks for your contributions so far! Jargon777 Leave a message 15:46, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
OK thanks. I did create a gallery though. Hope that's OK. They are all very important people when we talk about LGBT rights in Croatia so I thought it would be good to have their pictures here. It makes article look better and more interesting to read.
- The problem I had was they were all politicians, and there isn't a lot written about them. Maybe if you could trim it down to one really important politician. Pictures of protests or demonstrations would be better suited to the article, or maybe a photo of the leader of one of the movements that has helped gain rights for LGBTQ people. When you add an image it should be strongly related, if a politician isn't a vocal supporter I would question the need for an image, especially in the absence of a section about them. I'm not Croatian though, so I don't know how much these politicians actually did for LGBTQ rights. There are tons of people that support these rights, but not every one of them needs an image in the article. It's up to you though, I won't remove the images if you add them, but when people clean up the article they may eventually get removed. Jargon777 Leave a message 17:00, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
Ah right, I understand. I did leave two of them who have been very much involved in supporting gay rights through last 12 years, so hopefully they will stay there.
- Looks better. I also think there might be some WP:NPOV issues with the section you added on IVF. I mentioned it on the article's talk page, but since you wrote the section I'm also going to bring this up with you. Basically, you make some allegations about HDZ that aren't really cited and appear to push the POV that this party is propped by the Church. References that you add should also be next to sentences or paragraphs that take data from those places (see WP:Inline Citations and WP:Referencing for beginners) and should be reliable sources. Inferring things that are not in your citations (such as allegations that the Church is influencing policy) shouldn't be included if there are no sources to verify the claim. Jargon777 Leave a message 17:38, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
I understand. I am working on it now and will modify paragraph according to the resources I have. Thanx
As you can see I have modified paragraph about IVF and made sure that all the statements have sources, so I think there should be no questions about it now. Thanx
- Yes it's much better now. I cleaned up the grammar and references and took off the tag. You can look over my changes since I removed a little content too. Jargon777 Leave a message 15:15, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 4
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited LGBT rights in Croatia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 2000s (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

I fixed it, thanks.
Replaceable fair use File:Split Pride 2013.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Split Pride 2013.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. ☼ 18:17, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would ask that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on LGBT rights in Croatia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Regarding edits: [1], [2] and [3] – Plarem (User talk) 18:10, 20 August 2014 (UTC)
Please do not assume ownership of articles as you did at LGBT rights in Croatia. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them. Thank you. – Plarem (User talk) 19:05, 21 August 2014 (UTC)
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you.
Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to LGBT rights in Croatia, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you.
Please remember to assume good faith when dealing with other editors, which you did not do on LGBT rights in Croatia. Please do not react angrily to opposition of the ideology that you support. Thank you. – Plarem (User talk) 11:10, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
