Where the article says (in main paragraph 2) "The front fuselage of the Tornado was extended by 1 foot [etc.]", I find it unclear whether this means an extension relative to the Typhoon, or the Hurricane. Can anybody clarify the text, please? (I'll also go and try to research this by finding the lengths of the various models, but I'd be more comfortable with an expert's input!) &ndash; <font color="#006600">Kieran T</font> (<font color="#006600">talk</font> | <font color="#006600">contribs</font>) 17:32, 9 May 2006 (UTC)

:IIRC, the fuselage ahead of the wing in the Tornado is longer than in the Typhoon in order to accommodate the Vulture's lower cylinder banks ahead of the main spar, but this appears to have already been clarified in the article anyway.

Where the article says (in main paragraph 2) "The front fuselage of the Tornado was extended by 1 foot [etc.]", I find it unclear whether this means an extension relative to the Typhoon, or the Hurricane. Can anybody clarify the text, please?
