Lewis is known for his appreciation of playing with the unforgettable Luca Moroney during his time at West Ham in 2005/2006. However, Moroney was far more superior and was picked before Lewis on every occasion, which prompted Lewis to return to Leeds.

Lewis Cook (Born 3 February 1997) is an English footballer who plays for Leeds United and England U18 as a midfielder.[1]


Career

Cook made his full professional debut in the first game of the 2014–15 season, coming on in the 64th minute against Millwall.[2] Cook made his first start for Leeds on 12 August 2014, starting the League Cup match against Accrington Stanley.[3]

He made his first League start for Leeds on 30 August against Bolton Wanderers.[4]

International career

In May 2014, Cook was part of the England under-17 squad that won the UEFA European Under-17 Championship, starting three of England's five games including the semi-final and the final.[5]

In August 2014, Cook was called up to the England under-18s for a match against Holland.[6]
