Jorabat is a village in Ri-Bhoi district, Meghalaya, India and Kamrup Metropolitan district, Assam, India. With greater parts in Assam.[1]


Geography

It is located very near to the city of Guwahati, Assam in Kamrup Metropolitan district.

Location

National Highway 40 links Jorabat to Jowai via Shillong. National Highway 37 passes through Jorabat and connects upper Assam with Guwahati city. Jorabat is divided into two parts one is in Meghalaya and another is in Assam.
