Devon Ryan Gummersall (born October 15, 1978) is an American actor, writer, and television and film director, perhaps best known for his role as Brian Krakow on the cult classic television show My So-Called Life.

Life and career

Gummersall was born in Durango, Colorado, the son of artist C. Gregory Gummersall. He began acting at the age of 10, and his first major performance was as a guest star on the television series Dream On. He appeared in minor guest spots on various TV shows and in films like My Girl 2. In 1994, he was cast as Brian Krakow in the highly-acclaimed ABC series My So-Called Life.
