Collinsville, Texas

Hi, I'm not sure whey you deleted the history section at Collinsville, Texas. There were three reliable sources at the end of the section which supported the text. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 22:34, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Magnolia677, thank you for contacting me. I am reviewing now. Please review again and if you feel that I made an error you are welcome to undo my changes. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 23:00, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
All the references were way at the end. I'll try to fix the section. Cheers! Magnolia677 (talk) 23:15, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
This was my mistake, my apologies for the error and thank you for noticing. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 23:21, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Bunchofuckingoofs

Hello. was wondering why parts of our page is being ripped apart? Founding Members is missing their drummer Kirk (Mad Dog) and also the past members section completely gone. ive been in the hardcore scene here in toronto since 82. ive lived with them. played with them the past few years. 17 years ago. played in most of the fort bands. among others outside of that. alot of people have been and still are apart of that for years and to take those names down. deleting them.......? why?

The reference is already quoted in the bibliography. The book by Piombino. If you are not able to locate it it is just your own responsibility — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.56.52.135 (talk) 09:11, 10 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

ah gotcha. never heard of them. or this book you talk about. please tell me more. i know a book was done by Jennifer Morten about the Bunchofuckingoofs. but never knew there was another one out. the things you learn every day. looked for this book you're talking about and cant find anything. "if you are not able to locate it it is just your own responsibility"?

Martial arts vandal

Hi there! You might want to check out Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Martial arts vandal for details about the vandal. I've tried to be informative but concise in that write-up. If there are any missing details, it would be helpful to hear. Personally, I recognize the vandal through several aspects:

  • Extended edit wars with specific users. These days, it's usually me, but it can also be with Soangry, Andrzejbanas, Sturmgewehr88, etc.
  • An IP range that starts with 90.190.x.x through 90.220.x.x, or 2.120.x.x through or 2.220.x.x. Geolocation is almost always Burton-on-Trent, England.
  • Genre warring. He blanks categories and changes the lead to remove unwanted genres, mostly from martial arts films.
  • Alphabetizing categories. He always alphabetizes the categories in every article he edits, even when it's against consensus or the MOS.

Other behavior is a bit more random. He does make constructive edits, such as adding cast lists, but most of the time he's disruptive: removing cleanup templates, adding unsourced trivia, etc. There are more details in the write-up. I haven't really held back any information from the write-up, as I don't think he's interested or even capable of changing his habits. I've been tracking him for about a year now, but he's been doing this for at least five years. There are a few discussions on my user talk page that you could refer to, but, generally, most everything relevant is linked to in the LTA report. William Joseph Hammer page

Actually, there are several references provided in my edit. Look for yourself. When you say leave you a message on your Talk page, it would be helpful if you included information on how to do that. That is what I am attempting to do here.

Hello 68.108.254.246, thank you for contacting me on my talk page, and for your contributions as well. I realize that your edits are made in good faith, however the text you recently added appears to be original research or is otherwise not attributed to a source, save for the link to Page 209 of The Continuous Wave. Please see Help:Introduction to referencing for a beginners guide to citing sources. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 18:53, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a reference, an image from Hammer's notebook, that supports his work with the Edison Effect. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.108.254.246 (talk) 14:21, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Good work!

I noticed that you've reverted a vandalism at Daniyal (Mughal prince). Keep it up! I just joined this astonishing as well as hilarious encyclopedia. I'd like to do some favours to wikipedians like you by switching back vandalism and inaccurate edits. --JenniferTheEmpress0 (talk) 19:10, 13 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Earl Bostic

Hello. Thank you for writing me. Bostic's gravestone (on findagrave.com) reads April 25, 1912 - October 28, 1965. At first, I thought it could be reliable; but then I found a note about Earl Bostic in Joel Whitburn's Hot R&B Songs 1942-2010, and it reads April 25, 1913 - October 28, 1965. So to be quite honest, now it is hard to tell wchich of the two is reliable. So if we assume that 1913 is correct, then we should also change it in the main article on Earl Bostic (that is in his bio and in the Infobox). Correctness is my priority and I believe so is yours. So I suggest that we change all way through in the article, with a Note that his gravestone reads April 25, 1912 - October 28, 1965. Could you please see to it and make a Note that could clearly point out that difference. For readers it might be confusing that in one article two different dates are given. Thank you again.Radosław Wiśniewski (talk) 08:54, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Radosław Wiśniewski[reply]

Yogeeta Bali biography

in Yogeeta Bali article, I agree with you regarding citation. but May I know, why you removed

  • Hyperlink in filmography
  • Infobox.

Remove that part which is incorrect. You reverted all my changes. I had invested my half day for that changes. pradipgarala (talk) 04:18, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Pradip, thank you for contacting me. As of right now, the entire article is without a source, as the only link is a dead link which is no longer responsive. This is not congruent with WP:BLP policy. IMDb is not an accepted source for biographical material as it is user submitted, see WP:RS/IMDB. What are your sources for your recent changes? The article is in need of a reboot for the reasons listed, so perhaps we can work from the encyclopedic sources you have available. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 16:29, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Yamaguchi,
  • Filmography was already there, I have just added hyper link to that part. May I know, for adding hyperlink in filmography, what type of citation is needed ?
  • Infobox, I have referred her husband from wikipedia. pradipgarala (talk) 11:22, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Pradip garala, what you have stated is not accurate or true. References are required for all biographical material on Wikipedia. You reintroduced biographical material, such as date of birth and names of several minor children without providing a source. For example, what was your source for this edit? [2]
As a general practice, we should never be relying on or citing Wikipedia itself as a source for other articles, even if they are inter-related. If there is a reliable third party source in a related article to support your changes, then please cite that same source when introducing material into a separate article. Please review WP:CIRCULAR for details on this matter. The Mithun Chakraborty article which you refer to makes no mention of date of birth for Yogeeta Bali, nor does it appear to show a third party source for the additional material you added. If you have a valid source I am available to assist you, otherwise please exercise proper discretion when editing WP:BLP articles. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 16:31, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Gia Milinovich biography

You deleted a section on living person who's personal blog and opinions are is cited. It is relevant as they are a public figure. Unless you have some basis (not the actual person or a false source) please refrain from deleting material that is relevant and properly sourced. Your opinion on whether it is "helpful" is not a basis for suppressing fact. It is the verified author who posted this publicly so it violates no privacy or nondisclosure act.24.24.142.155 (talk) 20:19, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

And by the way, you leave a pointer requesting that you leave a message if you dispute and then delete the message What is the point? 24.24.142.155 (talk) 20:27, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If there is evidence that this blog has been referred to by reliable third party sources it may warrant inclusion. If not this strikes me as WP:UNDUE weight being placed into a WP:BLP article for the purpose of being disruptive. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 21:20, 21 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Angie Goff

May 2015 Information icon Hello, I'm Yamaguchi先生. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Angie Goff, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Angie Goff. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Yamaguchi先生 20:20, 20 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You are welcome to provide a source for your changes at any time. Proclaiming that something is "common knowledge" [3] is not the way. Please refrain from editing if you do not have a reliable third party source to support your changes. Regards, Yamaguchi先生 16:44, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as an obvious sock. Note that I am not a checkuser and am judging based solely on behavioral evidence, which thankfully suffices in this case. Cheers. Abecedare (talk) 01:50, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Board of Radiation and Isotope Technology Wikipedia Page

Hello Yamaguchi先生,

Thank-You for the message. Received your message of reverting my editings in Board of Radiation and Isotope Technology (BRIT) Wikipedia Page.

Just to notify you that I work for the same organization and is authorized to add contents to the page and also identifying the copyright contents that can be copied. However, I have done the editing in my personal capacity; and now I will choose to do it using my organization's ID (that is what it suffice, I guess..).

I have a suggestion for this current BRIT page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Board_of_Radiation_and_Isotope_Technology). The information provided in this page is very much incomplete and inconsistent to the activities done by my organization. This reduces the authenticity of the BRIT/Wikipedia Page and infact the content floated in the internet.

I would choose to put up a new page for BRIT compliant with all copyright issues and that too using BRIT's official profile ID (not personal ID). Hence, I suggest you to delete the BRIT page and notify me accordingly.
