The Facebook page linked to prove the {{PD-author}} claim states "This photograph my be used for reproduction for publicity and editorial reason. I, Andrew Novell, hold the copyright for this use and grant its free distribution for the above reasons in all forms of electronic, and other media." That is not a release into the public domain. It is a conditional release for "publicity and editorial reason", which is not free enough for Wikipedia's purposes, and likely revocable.
