Agreed. I am in Canada and group homes are also found here. :Agreed. I'm in the UK, where the term "group homes" isn't in common use, and found this article frustrating as it rather assumes a fair amount of US-specific knowledge. I'm not knowledgeable enough about the subject to make extensive edits myself, so I'll add the Globalize-US tag to the article in the hope that someone with more knowledge will do so. There is clearly another meaning of group home- is that addressed somewhere else?----Corrie2723 03:58, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've rewritten the article. --W.marsh 13:52, 23 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

i was looking for something that included roommate situations, why is this not in the article? or is it somewhere elseKillemall22 (talk) 20:13, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Victorian Colonies

Is the Victorian colonies references necessary or even relevant? 98.206.96.128 07:01, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Currently there is one see also link: one specific group home. This doesn't seem useful. Any objection to removing it? --Alynna (talk) 02:09, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's clear that it will eventually need to be removed, since there are many group homes, and it's prohibitive to list them all here. And categories are a much better solution for listing specific instances of a general concept. But this article is pretty short right now, so I don't mind if it stays until the article expands a bit more. --Underpants 23:00, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

{{Globalize}} ?

This seems to be a terribly US-centric article. Which state did the mandating? What on earth is "deinstitutionalization"? Philip Trueman (talk) 12:30, 17 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
