Great job with this article! The overview section was thorough and well written and I was intrigued from the beginning by the 'beautiful guard' fact. The biggest change I made was moving the picture to the main righthand box- I think it is more important to have a good picture there than one by the description section, but if you find another good picture definitely put it in. I also added more links throughout the page and changed some wording to make sentences flow better. The reproduction section is very informative and the human importance section does a good job of relating this page to the readers. If you are planning on making future changes to this page I would focus on adding more to the communication section and possibly a few more behavioral sections, but all together this is a great page so far. Good job with the article. Everything was very well written and interesting from beginning to end. The parts that I really liked was the map of where they are and the differences between the worker and queen oviposition. I added a hyperlink for eusocial and italicized the title of the article since it a name of a species. If you plan to expand this article, I would focus on the communication section.VAD2015 (talk) 20:47, 1 October 2015 (UTC)

Overall the article is well-written. I helped make writing flow better and look more aesthetic. In the intro added spaces between words that needed them like with “Mandaçaia, which” and changed some wording to make the sentences flow better with final products like “mud hives in the hollows of trees to create passages that only allow one bee to pass at a time” and “leading to overall larger yields of fruits”. I did the same with word flow and aesthetics in Taxonomy, Queen, Distribution and Habitat, Cell Construction, and Caste Differentiation. I would try to make sure to keep your article about Melipona quadrifasciata and get rid of anything that generalizes to Melipona, which has its own page. This can be seen in the intro to Identification and Differentiation and Colony Cycle. Additionally, where did you get the information for the queen? I would make sure to cite that. And you could also give an overview of the Reproduction section and Relation to Humans section to help readers get a better grasp of the section. I also got rid of extra hyperlinks like with oviposition and gynes and added hyperlinks to supersedure. I don’t know if you really need the hyperlink for Mandaçaia, since it’s really the same Wikipedia page but in a different language. However overall, I learned a lot about Melipona quadrifasciata and there were a lot of great information about this bee. Raymundo.marcelo (talk) 21:17, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for your feedback; I went back and cited my information for the queen; thank you for catching that! I'll work on an overview for the Reproduction and RElation to Humans sections as well. Wdsieling (talk) 11:15, 5 October 2015
