Tarun Kumar was a Bengali Film actor. He was the youngest brother of Uttam Kumar, the legendary Bengali Film actor. He acted a lot of Bengali films, mostly in important side roles. In Jhinder Bandi, he played the rival, Udit, the brother of Shankar played by Uttam Kumar. He was married to Subrata Chatterjee.
