Hello, and thank you for your contribution to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to the National Register of Historic Places listings in Pinellas County, Florida article. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Thank you! Dcirovic (talk) 18:41, 3 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi, I had thought I was on the talk page when I added my comment. It was only afterwards that I noticed I had altered the article. I later found my way to the actual talk page and requested that someone fix this. I deliberately avoid editing actual articles since I am not skilled at this. When I see an error I request on the talk page that someone either correct the article or look into the appropriateness of doing so. The article on the historic places of Pinellas county has many errors of fact. My expertise is in history not website editing. All my books were published and out of print long before the internet was invented so forgive an old man's mistakes please.

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

 1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
 2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Use of talk pages ---- no FORUM allowed

Please read the WP:Talk page guidelines. Your recent posts at Talk:Global warming, which lack any WP:Reliable source citations, are pretty much in the form of soapboxing and general forum discussion. Article talk pages are not for that. Instead, they are for discussing ways to use WP:Reliable sources to make article improvements. NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 18:14, 21 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
