The project is performed and produced by Ánde Somby, an artist deeply rooted in the yoik tradition. The recordings and post production are by Chris Watson, sound artist and sound recordist from Newcastle upon Tyne. Yoiking is the ancient chanting practice of the Sámi People.

The sampling of sounds took place in Kvalnes, Lofoten in June 2014. The artist A K Dolven, living in Kvalnes and London has been instrumental and important in developing the concept, and produced the album's cover art.[6] The production was supported by the Sami Parliament of Norway.[7]

The title is inspired by the stories about the faeries and elves in mythology, and the recording was inspired by the Arctic climate. There are four tracks on this record, which is released by Ash International.
