Rozureido has an odd resemblance to The Phantom of the Opera or a masquerader. It has thin, club-shaped hands that have three roses as its hands. It bears a large white rose on its head. Like Roselia, its roses are red and blue on its right and left hands, respectively. Its legs are like those of Roselia's as well, except for the yellow tips of its feet. It wears a mask that is connected to the white rose atop its head, which in turn is connected to the head and a sepal that extends behind the head and just below the rose. It has a long green cloak that trails behind it. It also has a yellow collar that the cloak is probably connected to. The leaf it had in front of it is no longer there. It could be that on Roselia, it was a dress and now it has been turned into its green leafy cloak. One could say Rozuraido's appearance is graceful or elegant. |

Rozureido (ロズレイド) are one of the Template:Pokenum fictional species of Pokémon creatures from the multi-billion-dollar[1] Pokémon media franchise – a collection of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media, created by Satoshi Tajiri. Rozureido is famous for being one of the Pokémon revealed before the Japanese release of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. The purpose of Rozureido in the games, anime and manga, as with all other Pokémon, is to battle both wild Pokémon, untamed creatures encountered while the player passes through various environments, and tamed Pokémon owned by Pokémon trainers.[2]
Rozureido was first officially revealed at the PokéJungle event in Japan,[3] but it was previously mentioned that Roselia may be gaining a Stage 1 form.[4] Rozureido is confirmed to be the evolved form of Roselia, as the text below its picture states that "Roselia has evolved into Rozureido".
The name Rozureido may be a portmanteau of the English words rose, in reference to the rose on its head and its bouquet-like hands, and masquerade, as it appears to be wearing a mask.
Appearance
In the video games
Although not much is known about Rozureido, some information has been released about its attacks and abilities. It can have either of two existing abilities, Natural Cure, an ability that heals the Pokémon's status when withdrawn from battle, or Posion Point, an ability that causes the opponent to have a 30% chance of being induced with Poison when using an attack that requires physical contact against this Pokémon. Rozureido can also learn the existing attacks Magical Leaf, Leech Seed, Petal Dance, GrassWhistle, and Poison Sting (all also known by Roselia). It is also known now that Rozureido knows Leaf Storm, a new Grass-type attack. Nothing is known about it.
