:I didn't see any citation for the new information, but I think I understand your meaning. It looks like large sections of those articles are not carefully sourced. All I was doing was following around an editor who added a lot of unsourced exposition and removing it. Feel free to add that work back. It would be great if you would include a citation to a reliable source. Thanks, —[[user:EncMstr|EncMstr]] ([[user talk:EncMstr|talk]]) 04:08, 7 August 2016 (UTC)

I would agree that the Sarah Sharpe controversy content can be presented in the article if its balanced, but not in the section labeled "Personal Life" since his relationship with kernel developers has nothing to do with his personal life. Please go back and look that over if you think it belongs in the section "Personal Life". It may belong in a section about his professional life. My issue with the content in the section its listed in. Thanks in advance for any assistance with this content. Thanks for reverting that edit! I was not able to find the section on how to do so. Do you have a direct link to it by chance? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hamellr (talkcontribs) 18:07, 7 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Old news

Hi EncMstr, ArbCom got an email from a school district where you applied a range block in 2014; see User talk:152.157.0.0/16. I'm trying to figure out how best to help them. I told them that they could place an unblock request and get in contact with you, so this is a heads-up; perhaps you can check in on them (either that talk page or one of the ones in that range--I don't know if they know how all that works) in the next couple of days. Thanks, Drmies (talk) 01:24, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up.
I don't see any discussion there, not even a challenge to the block. I suppose it would be hard for a blocked IP in that range to know where to look. How does that work? Do IPs see information about the range block, or just their own block?
I recall there is a tool to show range contributions, but I don't recall how to do it. That might be enough to see if an individual IP requested unblocking. The collective editing history is at Special:Contributions/152.157.0.0/16. It takes a long time to show.
I looked around a bit at WP:ARB but I don't see anything related. Do you know where to look? I take it you know because you have the checkuser and oversight bits? —EncMstr (talk) 02:50, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm, I looked through all the contributions for the entire range. There was one in 2015 and one in 2016: both were vandalism. Not an unblock request. —EncMstr (talk) 02:57, 17 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ostroski is back again

Same M/O, creating fake articles on talkpages, as well as template and redirect page (already reverted):

Thanks for dealing with this so promptly - I can't find any more at the moment - the last few IP addresses I listed had historic edits (~1 year old), and I'm not aware of anything more recent, apart from this latest burst of activity. Cheers, Bahudhara (talk) 09:10, 1 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit on the LS-based small block page

I don't mean to tell you how to do your job (god knows I hate it when people tell me how to do mine), but that edit on the LS engine page wasn't unsourced, per se. Every aluminum block LS engine uses cast iron cylinder liners. Carguy1701 (talk) 01:59, 7 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
