Megalia is a feminazi website that is pretty much universally hated on the Korean internets.{{citation needed|date=October 2016}} Their purpose on the website actually said at one point "promoting misandry and female supremacy."
When it was founded Megalia claimed that it was a feminist website and that its goal was to "promote women's rights and remove misogyny widespread in the Korean society." However, in reality, Megalia is a feminazi website that has caused a lot of controversy in the South Korean Society.{{citation needed|date=October 2016}} Especially in South Korean cyber realm, most other web communities are hostile to them because of their deeds.
However, Megalia soon proved itself that it was a feminazi website inciting young women to attack men and making fun of male victims in various insidents. For instance, on October 17th, 2015, a Megalian(a term referring to users of Megalia), who was a kindergarten teacher, uploaded a post saying that she wants to rape her male kindergarten children.<ref>https://archive.is/qpsfX</ref> More shckingly, she called her children "좆린이(Jonnini, a slang meaning fucking sexy lolita)" As this post became spread out on the Internet, and later was shown on newspapers, many people in South Korea were shocked.<ref>http://news.naver.com/main/read.nhn?mode=LSD&mid=sec&sid1=102&oid=014&aid=0003569312&viewType=pc</ref> In the end, the Megalian was arrested.
Examples of incidents they caused include spread of child pornography they produced with a little boy, celebrating the Korean War because so many men died, kindergarten teacher admitting that she was a pedophile (actively saying that she wants to fuck the little kids), filming the men's changing rooms/restrooms, poisoning their male bosses, sharing pics of mutilated penises, falsely accusing a webtoon author as a rapist, harassing many male authors in the industry etc. etc. etc. There's pretty much someone getting arrested weekly. (And yes. In Korea, you could sue someone online for the things they said and done online, even if it's anonymous){{citation needed|date=October 2016}}

Megalia (korean: 메갈리아), also known as Megalian(메갈리안), is a website based in South Korea. created in 2015.

Overview

In the spring of 2015, DC Inside, a South Korean Internet forum, created a new forum page named "MERS Gallery". The page was made for the purpose of sharing information regarding Middle East respiratory syndrome. However, only a few days after, a sudden influx of Misandrist, Female Chauvinist and Feminazis into the "MERS Gallery" occurred. For this reason, the board became covered with posts containing "men hate" message, which meant the initial purpose of the forum had been lost altogether. As the cyber terrorism became more and more serious, the DC inside Administration intervened, warning the Feminazi users to use polite language. Feminazi users, however, complained about the language policy sanction by the administrations. In the end, they left the DC Inside forum and launched their own website, "Megalia". The name is derived from the Gerd Brantenberg's Novel "Egalia's Daughters" and DC Inside 'MERS Gallery'.[2][3]

theres some misinformation about how Megalian is like 4chan[6] but Megalian is nothing like 4chan. where there are many boards are separated. (ex. /v/ , /pol/ ,/tv/) this website is pure misandry supporting website nothing more. where all the posts are mocking about men who died in Korean War and how they wanna kill all men.

Criticisms

  • Megalian member often posted about how she wanted to rape young boy turned out to be teacher of Pre-K.[7]
  • in November 2015, Megalia got sued by the korean webtoonist MindC for saying she got raped by him which was false(proven by korean pollice). she was sued by him and Criminal procedure was proceeded by Korean government. webtoonist MindC went through tough time because of this false accusations. however, when police reported that "she did that because she wanted to get attention." police report from EJB Police Department. the girl from Megalia has proven GUILTY. pic was taken by the victim MindC[8] Megalia didn't even apologize to MindC. They started fundraiser to support the criminal in the name of "feminism"[9][10][11]
  • In October 2015, Megalia was flaming and Name calling to EBS Online lecture Teacher Lee-daji(이다지). Because she had argued that "A woman should do the obligation for obtain the rights.". Megalia didn't agree what she said, so they attacked her.[12]

"Womad"(korean:워마드) is a website derived from Megalia in January 22, 2016.[13]

Megalia was loathe the sexual minorities, and they had outing gay men in korea. but after megalia operators were banned LGBT hate in site.

Since the banned hatred of sexual minorities in Megalia, homo phobia feminazi have made individual sites for they hate all kinds of men in korea, regardless of age or sexual orientation.

Womad has been advocating for Misandrist and Female Chauvinist, and they hate the Korean male in the extreme. even young child boy and Homosexual Men. also Womad had still trying to outing gay men in korea.

In July 2016, there are many Murder certification post was uploading in Womad. Many members of Womad claimed they using coffee with Antifreeze and poisoned the men. On July 28, Korean Police began an investigation to Womad.[14]

Megalia 4

"Megalia 4" is a facebook page that derived from Megalia in 2016.

Megalia 4 had made Feminism T-shirt bearing the phrase "Girls do not need a prince". On Monday, a south korea voice actress Jayeon Kim(김자연), posted a selfie on Twitter wearing that T-shirt. In some reports, although it is known "Jayeon Kim, a voice actress who worked for PC game company Nexon, She was fired from Nexon. because only reason that she wearing the Feminism T-shirt",[6][15][16] But this is in fact wrong. in fact Jayeon Kim was not employee of Nexon, she just providing the voice of 'Tina'(티나, a Character of video game Closers). and even she was not 'fired' from Nexon, basically she was not Nexon employees. Nexon has just replace Tina's Voice to another voice actress, after the agreed of Jayeon Kim. Nexon has unravel as follows: "김자연 성우와 원만한 합의 하에 결정된 사항이다. 계약된 보이스 녹음 비용은 모두 지불됐으며, 사용만 하지 않는 것, 이번 업데이트에 사용되는 캐릭터 보이스는 모두 녹음됐기 때문에 추가로 녹음을 진행하거나 별도의 비용이 발생하지 않는다. 이번 사태로 김자연 성우가 일자리를 잃었다는 주장은 왜곡된 부분이다"(Replacement Tina's voice was conducted through an amicable agreement between Nexon and Jayeon Kim. We had already paid for that all contract voice recordings money to her, voice recordings are all finished already, there is no more new voice recording. But we just not using her voice in game. so she did not lose her's jobs or monetary damages.)[17]

in July 31 2016, Margaret Qualley has defended and supports to jayeon kim and Megalia in her's Instagram.[18][19] As a result, she was much controversy in South Korea.[20]
