::The correct thing to do when someone undoes someone else's work for no reason and tells them to go away for no reason is to tell that person their conduct is not acceptable. If you ignore it and therefore condone it, then it should be no surprise if the person they pointlessly attacked is angry! So then block them with no warning for being angry, and using the HORRIFIC word "idiot"??? And the correct thing you want me to do is accept that being angry for being arbitrarily attacked was "inappropriate"??? Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions so far. I hope you like the place and decide to stay.

Here are some links to pages you may find useful:

You don't have to log in to read or edit articles on Wikipedia, but if you wish to acquire additional privileges, you can simply create a named account. It's free, requires no personal information, and lets you:

If you edit without using a named account, your IP address (222.29.61.49) is used to identify you instead.

I hope that you, as a new Wikipedian, decide to continue contributing to our project: an encyclopedia of human knowledge that anyone can edit. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. We also have an intuitive guide on editing if you're interested. By the way, please make sure to sign and date your talk page comments with four tildes (~~~~).

Happy editing! FalconK (talk) 04:41, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for making personal attacks towards other editors. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 16:30, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

However much you feel you are right and others are wrong, it is never acceptable to refer to other editors as idiots. Avoid personalising any issues in the future or further sanctions may ensue. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 16:32, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

Request reason:

Are you kidding me? You block me with no warning for using the word "idiot"? And this after you stand idly by and watch as someone undoes my edits for no reason whatsoever, telling me to "go away", for no reason whatsoever? You really must not speak English very well at all. "Idiot" is an extraordinarily mild term that you would have to be incredibly thin skinned to even notice. Or possibly you think it's funny to undo people's work for no reason and tell them to go away for no reason. Either way it's disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=Are you ''kidding me''? You block me with ''no warning'' for using the word "''idiot''"? And this after you stand idly by and watch as someone undoes my edits for ''no reason whatsoever'', telling me to "go away", for ''no reason whatsoever''? You really must not speak English very well at all. "Idiot" is an extraordinarily mild term that you would have to be incredibly thin skinned to even notice. Or possibly you think it's funny to undo people's work for no reason and tell them to go away for no reason. Either way it's disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourself. |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=Are you ''kidding me''? You block me with ''no warning'' for using the word "''idiot''"? And this after you stand idly by and watch as someone undoes my edits for ''no reason whatsoever'', telling me to "go away", for ''no reason whatsoever''? Or possibly you think it's funny to undo people's work for no reason and tell them to go away for no reason. Either way it's disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourself. |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:
