Ajay Varma (better known as Ajay V or Ajay) is a UK based film critic, journalist, editor and film trade analyst.[1] He is also the founder of the South Indian cinema entertainment portal KollyEmpire. Ajay is well known for his UK Tamil Cinema box office reports which he exclusively shares on his official Twitter account (@kollyempire).

Career

Ajay V started his journalism and digital marketing career in 2013 by creating a Twitter and Facebook account to post the latest news related to South Indian cinema.[1] In 2016, Ajay V created KollyEmpire, a South Indian cinema entertainment portal. Alongside this, he has written several articles and publications in various South Indian journalism platforms such as Behindwoods, Only Kollywood and Sky Cinemas.

Ajay has received many praises and accolades from key celebrities and the general public for his trade analyst work in the South Indian film industry. He also specializes specifically in analyzing and reporting official Tamil Cinema box office reports for the United Kingdom.[2]

Ajay has also been referenced and mentioned in many of the popular Tamil Cinema entertainment portals such as Behindwoods and IBTimes for his box office reports and estimations.[3]
