Rozonda Ocelean Thomas (born February 27, 1971 in Atlanta, Georgia to a Guyanese father of Indian descent, and an African American mother) is an American R&B singer and actress; best known under the pseudonym, "Chilli."

In 1991, she joined the acclaimed R&B/hip hop group TLC, which scored four number one singles, sold millions albums, and became the best selling female group of the 1990s. In 1995, she was voted one of People Magazine's "The Worlds Most Beautiful People." In 1997, she had a son, Tron, with Dallas Austin, TLC's long time producer. She was also romantically involved with artist Usher Raymond in 2001.

Solo Career

In the time since TLC went on hiatus, Rozonda has hosted a radio show in her native Atlanta and has engaged in philanthropic activities. She's had guess starring roles on shows such as: The Parkers, and Strong Medicine. In 2000, she was featured in the made-for-tv movies: A Diva's Christmas Carol (with Vanessa L. Williams), and Love Song (with Monica.) In 2001, she co-stared in the action film Ticker.

She recently signed with Konvict/Interscope Records, which will release her solo debut album — tentatively due some time between the end of 2006 and early 2007. The album will involve collaborations with executive producer Missy Elliott, Konvict label head, Akon and group mate T-Boz. T-Pain who is also signed to Akon's label currently finished a upbeat dance track with Chilli as well for her upcoming album. [1] One of the album's songs called "Gameproof" was recently leaked to the Internet and created an unexpected buzz.
