Sarah A. Hoyt[1] has sold a dozen novels in various genres. Most recently, as Sarah D’Almeida, she published -- note HAVEN'T but will have by November when this comes out -- Death of a Musketeer[2], a mystery novel featuring the three musketeers plus one. She has also published over four dozen short stories in well-regarded magazines such as Asimov's, Analog, Amazing and Weird Tales, as well as several anthologies[3]. Some of these stories appear in her collection, Crawling Between Heaven and Earth[4]. Also due out in November, is her sf novel Draw One in the Dark[5], from Baen Books[6]. All of her published books are available from Amazon[7]. Sarah grew up in a small bucolic village on the outskirts of Porto, Portugal, a major Atlantic port city. This naturally means, as she says on her dustjacket, that she will forever gravitate to the largest city available in her region, under the principle that she saw enough cornfields and vineyards in childhood to last her a lifetime. The one thing she didn’t see growing up was diners. The idea of a restaurant being open all night never occurred to her until she came to the States at twenty two. She remains fascinated by the places and has the ability to home-in on a diner in any strange town in less than twenty four hours. She currently lives in Colorado with her husband, two teen boys and a pride of cats. You can catch up with her progress at her website[8].
