Tyson Coy Stewart (born June 24, 1998)[2] is an American actor. He had a role in the TBS sitcom Are We There Yet? as Kevin Kingston-Persons, taking Philip Bolden's place, and plays Troy in the new nickelodeon sitcom Bella and the Bulldogs.

Early life

Stewart was born in Columbia, South Carolina. His interest in acting began after reciting lines from popular television series.[3] He then joined a talent agency in Columbia, DeAbreu Modeling and Consulting, before playing Travis Younger in a stage production of A Raisin in the Sun.[4]

Career

In 2010, Stewart began his role as Kevin Kingston in the TBS sitcom Are We There Yet?. He also stars as a main character in the PBS series The Electric Company as Marcus Barnes, who gets the wordball power and a skill of math power. He also guest starred in the A&E original series, The Glades.

On March 13, 2011, Coy won the Young Artists Award for Best Supporting Young Actor in a Comedy or Drama. In January 2012, Coy's father published a non-fiction book titled The Unlikely Journey that chronicles Coy's journey into the entertainment business.

Coy also started in the live action Nickelodeon television show, Bella and the Bulldogs as "Troy".
