Katarina Grujić (born 20 May 1992 in Belgrade, Yugoslavia) is a Serbian pop-folk singer who in the beginning of 2010s became popular thanks to Grand Stars. She is believed to be the third singer that in this decade, along with Milica Pavlović and Aleksandra Prijović broke into Serbia's pop-folk music scene.

Biography

Katarina graduated from a private high school and attended two years of College for Media and Communication in Belgrade.[1] In 2012/2013 she competed in "Grand Stars" competition and finished eighth place. No matter the ranking, Katarina has shown that she has a talent for singing. The first song she recorded was with the other contestants, but her first single Jedno đubre obično brought her to the public's eye. The song eventually won her millions of views. Her second song Lutka was published in 2014, listening to the first sounds, playing both in clubs and discoteques. On June 25, 2015 Katarina issued another song Greška that after two weeks of gains over 2 million views on YouTube, and it currently has more than 25 million views.[2]
