Architectural technology

Hi,

I refer to your insertion for structural engineer in the article on "Architectural technology". You are mistaken. Structural engineers are not the only engineers to practice architectural technology. I am a chartered building engineer, as well as a chartered architectural technologist. There are at least 3 different types of engineers to practice architectural technology. These are structural engineers, building engineers and architectural engineers. Services engineers may also be considered as practicing architectural technology. On this ground, I think that restricting the article to structural engineer is inappropriate.

Also, your graphic addition is very restrictive and does not represent architectural technology as a whole. A window frame details is relevant to architectural technology as a detailed drawing of a cornice may be to architecture. However, it does not represent the full picture, which I think need to be expressed at this early stage of the article.

I hope that you will agree.
