Rose Lemberg (27 September 1976)[1] is a bigender,[2] queer[2] author, poet, and editor of speculative fiction. Their work has appeared in publications such as Lightspeed,[3] Strange Horizons,[4][5] Beneath Ceaseless Skies,[6][7][8] and Uncanny Magazine.[9]
Life
They are an immigrant to the United States from Ukraine, Russia, and Israel.[10] They live in the Midwestern United States with their spouse, Bogi Takács.[11] They are a professor[12], and study and teach sociolinguistics.[11]
Awards and Nominations
- "Grandmother-nai-Laylit's Cloth of Winds", first published in Beneath Ceaseless Skies,[7] was nominated for the 2016 Nebula Award for Best Novelette, and on the long list for the 2015 Tiptree Award.[13]
- Marginalia to a Stone Bird - Aqueduct Press, 2016, shortlisted for the Crawford Award.[14][15]
