Just letting you know that I have reverted the page move & split at Slide guitar, as these did not seem to be natural terms (per WP:COMMONNAME). If you would still like to move the pages, suggest that a requested move, which would allow discussion and consensus among editors, would be the way to go. - Ryk72 'c.s.n.s.' 20:00, 20 October 2015 (UTC)

:@ Ryk72 - a guitar technique is not a guitar. Now the article of Slide guitar is describing a technique. It's not my Wiki, nl.wiki is mine. But factually you reverted it to the mess I found there. Ymnes (talk) 15:05, 21 October 2015 (UTC)

Thank you very much! I usually work on Dutch Wikipedia and I have written an article on Al Capps in English. As a preparation I'm making the interal links now :-) Have a nice day! Ymnes (talk) 07:24, 25 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Mississippi (song)

I've updated the charts table and the infobox for this song with all the verifiable sources I could find. I have added the Australian chart position – it reached number 1 in South Africa but the chart is a radio chart so I don't know if this counts as an official chart, so I have left it out for the time being. The song was released in the US and Canada in 1977 (twice, in fact, first on the Private Stock label and then on Capitol Records) but did not chart at all... I think that perhaps the Americans were not happy about Europeans making country music. Richard3120 (talk) 19:02, 19 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for your help! I used your data too, to update the article in Dutch language. I cannot copy-paste your sources there, because I have not read your sources myself, but am allowed to refer to the English article and your statement here above (the last one I hope :-).[1] The most important charts in the Netherlands - Top 40 and the figures that are gathered on Dutch Charts (several charts that serveral times changed name and are called the Singles Top 100 currently) - have started as radio lists as well. For that reason I have included the South African chart in Dutch as wel.
And guess what, another nice thing happened to the Dutch article earlier today, namely it is included in the Did You Know-section (we'er in the process of updating it currently).[2] So that's a very nice combination today!
Thank you very much again! Best regards, Ymnes (talk) 17:17, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Ymnes, no problem at all, and congratulations on getting a "Did You Know" (I can't speak Dutch, but I speak enough German to be able to understand what it says in your link :-) ). The information that the song was released twice in the US comes from Billboard magazine (the trade magazine for the music industry) in the issue 7 May 1977, page 34, which you can see here – the words are not very clear but towards the bottom of the page in the section "Talent Talk" it says, "Capitol has purchased the master from Private Stock of the single 'Mississippi" by Pussycat, a Dutch group. Capitol reports that the single has sold 3.8 million copies abroad, but when it was first released here, it died. Now Capitol will try again." You can also see the label of the original US release on Private Stock here. Best wishes. Richard3120 (talk) 18:15, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much for the additional information. I can use it as a reference in the article. Me myself, I was surprised that it wasn't a hit in the US and no. 1 in the UK. Best wishes, Ymnes (talk) 18:22, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Country Duets

Hello Ymnes, I'm glad to note that someone has finally written a Dutch article on her. This is was much required as most of her shows are in Netherlands and Germany these days. Unfortunately I'm not Dutch and dont speak it either. Regarding 'Country Duets' no its not to be mixed with American Duets because the latter was recorded with Benny Neyman and the former with Dick Van Altena who at that time was a part of Major Dundee. Whether there was an album with that name or not, I will verify and get back to you. It may be that there were sporadic singles that made entry into various Major Dundee Albums. I will need to recheck. Regarding your second query, the gentleman as mentioned IS Werner Theunissen and this I know for fact as I have other pictures of him as well and it is indeed him. No doubt about that. Cynthiapinto123 (talk) 02:55, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Another request please make a mention of her English page on yours and I will do the same as well. Thanks.Cynthiapinto123 (talk) 03:58, 4 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again, Toni did records about 10 songs with Nits (that makes an entire album). I don't really know what it was called. Please give me a day. I will get you the details from Toni directly. Regarding a picture, I have many beautiful ones. But you will require permissions. I'm in touch with Toni on facebook. I will request permissions from her through an email to you. There is a form you may be aware which she needs to fill. I have it and I could send the form to her. I could request her to forward it to Wiki granting YOU permission. Please give me your email address. I could send you the picture via email. regards Cynthia

Slide guitar

Hi Ymnes,

Just letting you know that I have reverted the page move & split at Slide guitar, as these did not seem to be natural terms (per WP:COMMONNAME).
