The interior design of the school is as open as possible, with a very large common area for students to meet in when time allows. It has been said that the school was designed as a social experiment that included a lack of walls in most areas to help promote open communication between teachers and students, as well as to foster the development of better manners, and social skills.{{fact}} While little proof has been offered as to the validity of this idea, the fact remains that the high school is very open, airy, and friendly. With proximity to the George Stone Career Center, it would be easy to take advantage of the many vo-tech classes that are offered.
