Is it acceptable to post a link to the only known seller of this film?

I have a link to a company in South Africa which is to my knowledge the only place on-line, and possibly the only place in the world, on- or off-line, where a D.V.D. of this movie can be bought. I have not added it because it could be construed as advertising; but I feel it could be useful for people who would like to find this very rare movie, so I'm seeking advice on whether something like this can be included in the article when relevant to its topic. Should spoiler warning be included?

I'm just wondering if I should I add a spoiler warning to the article (which I have just written myself) - either before the ending of the story, or possibly before the entire text of the article. I used to see lots of spoiler warnings in plot summaries on Wikipedia, but I see far fewer of them now, and am wondering whether policy on this has changed.

Any suggestions on this would be appreciated. M.J.E. 18:35, 24 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why links removed?

Hi, Tony. Just wondering why you removed most of the links I put in the article. I can't see how they are "excess"; and why is a blog reference unsuitable if it is right on topic? (Did you read any of the links to check for relevance before removing them?) And a couple of the IMDb discussion links I provided, it is true, can be found from the one link you left - but I put them in because I thought some people might find it a bit tricky to find them by navigating from the front page, and they may not be easily noticed by some.

The links I provided are amongst very few references to this movie on the Internet, and I would expect them to be of interest to many readers who are interested enough to read the article in the first place. So I was tempted to put them back, but thought I'd first ask why they were removed (Tony, or anyone else who has thoughts on this). I'm still fairly new at this, so possibly there may be subtle rules or policies they violate - but I can't think of any. Thanks. M.J.E. 18:15, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Plot

Doesn't the boy's father get lost as well in the end?If so,it should be added to plot.Shashankgupta (talk) 13:44, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No, he doesn't get lost. The movie ends with the father finding his son and the little dog, carrying them back to his vehicle. M.J.E. (talk) 14:50, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, it appears at the end as if the father is lost too as He cannot hear any response from the Rescue vehicle for His calls but after a bit of silence the honking from the rescue vehicle is heard faintly and it gets louder. "Reactions" as written is very personal and POV.JohnC (talk) 07:11, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is simply describing reactions that people have commonly had, which can be confirmed by searching for forums where the movie has been discussed. It is not stating those points of view as *facts*. It was I who added those comments, and I regard it as valid to state that many people had those points of view about the film. M.J.E. (talk) 14:50, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I also think that it is very POV. At the least, please source the information showing that "many people" have had these points of view. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.52.85.121 (talk) 23:52, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
