Just looking at this page from a re-direct and it almost seems like the U-2 might well be more derived from the XF-90 than the F-104 that everyone is told. Soarhead77 (talk) 21:14, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

suspect is is more of a case that the F-104 probably has more than a little F-90 in it and from there it went into the U-2, as they all originated inside the heads of Kelly Johnson and his team.
