I am no expert on cowboy churches, but I know that somebody who called themselves Cowboy Church Sunday School published a record i 1954, so the term is at least as old as that.

After some though, it could work to use only the 'cowboy church' heading and include 'cowboy ministry'.
"The sermons are usually short and simple, in order to better to be understood by the parishioners."
Hmmm... now that is a bit condescending, don't you think? RowlandReed (talk) 15:50, 27 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Citations
Citations need to be embedded in the text. For example, "In 1972 the cowboy church concept was created by Glenn Smith as chronicled in his book Apostle Cowboy Style published in 1988" should have a citation to a source talking about Smith's book, or a direct citation of his book. I know there are references in the reference list, but in-text citations are necessary. Samfoe (talk) 22:46, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
