FC Progresul Caracal was a Romanian professional football club from Caracal, Olt County, Romania.
History
In 1924, in Caracal is founded Sports Association „Răsăritul” Caracal. Among the founding members of this sports association were: Mircea Botoi, Gheorghe Dumitrescu, Tudor Voiculescu, Stefan Sandulescu, supported by a few people with financial possibilities, including: Stavarache Borcescu, Ionica Bratasanu or Tudor Popescu.[1]
